2023 Weiser-Künstler Riesling Gaispfad Kabinett Trocken

It’s hard not to love the wines of Konstantin Weiser and Alexandra Künstler, their wines are as soulful as they are. The labels are in the design of Jugendstil (“Art Nouveau” in French), a nod to the period in time when the Mosel was at the peak of prosperity and status. While Riesling has lost some of this status worldwide to Parkerized Reds, the vineyards remain some of the best in the world and the Mosel is the beating heart. 

The 2023er Trarbacher Gaispfad Riesling Kabinett Trocken is a bone-dry wine (less than 2 g/l of residual sugar) harvested on very old, un-grafted vines and was fermented and matured in Fuder.
