Giulia Negri, or Barologirl, as she has been nicknamed, took over her family estate with a lineage of grape growing going back 150 years at the age of only twenty four! Precocious, well traveled, and sharp as a whip. Having studied in Burgundy, and given her vineyards northernly exposition, it is no wonder that when we dip our nose into her wines we feel a strong resemblance to Burgundy. But make no mistake, this is Nebbiolo, not Pinot Noir. Yet there is a perfume and elegance and a red fruited snap on the palate that has us reaching for more than a glass.
