2022 Nathalie Banes Moulin La Blanche

Since 2015, Nathalie, with the help of one horse named Hulot, is making Gamay in Beaujolais, tending 3.8 hectares. Impressive! Gorgeous expression of natural wine. Nathalie's process is low intervention: no filtration, no added sulfites. She doesn't employ carbonic methods yet her wines have a nice little crackle on the palate, very much a natural, wild, red-fruited Bojo. There is a chewy tannin vibe on the palate which with air will soften and integrate nicely. 

We F'ing adore this wine and Nathalie's passion and determination. 

This is farmer, paysanne wine perfect for washing down salty cured meats. 

According to the back label the wine has "no intruders, no inputs, no artifice and no evil curses!"
