2018 Ridge Estate Chardonnay

Our last bottle of Ridge chardonnay drinking at its peak with 6 years of age! A hedonistic delight with lobster mac and cheese! 

Ridge Estate Winery is one of the 11 California wineries that took part in the Judgement of Paris in 1976, which ultimately brought California winemaking to the world’s stage. Founded by a group of Stanford engineers with the first vintage produced in ’62 from ’40’s plantings.

100% organic Chardonnay, whole cluster pressed and barrel fermented in American and French oak. Fermented with native yeasts, aged for 15 months with minimal sulphur additions. Since 2011, full transparency of winemaking is described on the wine’s back label.

All fruit is estate grown from the Monte Bello vineyards in the Santa Cruz Appellation.
