Frank Cornelissen is the Belgian-born grower behind some of Etna's most sought-after natural wines, farming high-altitude vineyards planted in black volcanic sand. His Susucaru Bianco blends Malvasia, Moscadella, Catarratto and Insolia, fermented with a brief skin contact that gives the wine its texture and faint golden color. The 2024 tastes of apricot, chamomile and sea salt, with the grip and energy Etna whites are known for. Try it with grilled octopus, white pizza or a hard sheep's milk cheese.
