A nano estate in the Moselle founded by the Merklebach brothers, a pair of homely bachelor bros who made polite, delicate wines for many years without much fanfare. We have always been groupies of Merklebach and this Auslese is a prime example why: aromatically pure, crystalline, angelic, and while very fruity it remains a refreshing wine too drink and at 7%abv is is very crushable.
