2022 Chateau Massereau Cuvee X Bordeaux Superior

The aromas of the sans sourer bottling explode from the glass. We have been enjoying this wine for many vintages and 2022 is undeniably our favorite. It is difficult to make wine without sulfites and this bottling succeeds. There can be some bacterial issues that can produce some undesirable flavors but when the winegrower gets it right--there is truly nothing more pure and delightful to imbibe. The fruit here to blue and purple and reminds us of those lovely, dark fruited wines from Nuits St Georges in Burgundy. An insane value for the price.
