The estate is really just a tiny cellar, a basket press, a few hectares of old vines and a hell of a lot of buzz. Florian Moll, his partner Géraldine, Manfred Enderle and frenchman Maxence Lecat are producing what insiders consider the best Pinot Noir in Germany.
100% Pinot Noir from 45+ year-old vines, organic and biodynamically hand farmed. Seeking a more delicate elevage, the wine is aged in only used Burgundy barrels.
This wine may come from Baden, Germany but in a blind tasting it could easily be mistaken for a fine Burgundy. Light, bright, energetic, detailed and ethereal. Pair with a French classic like Coq au Vin or German potato pancakes and sausage.
