2022 Pierre-Olivier Bonhomme Telquel

There are no words to express how much we love this wine--we have enjoyed this juicy, earthy red for 17th consecutive vintages. A wine that could be the OG " chillable red". When it arrived in NYC circa 2008 we were mesmerized. The label was playful, the wine was direct, novel, expressive and just so much fun to drink. It felt contrarian, accessible, punk. Now a legendary wine among many natural wine lovers. We are just so happy to revisit a wine which inspired us to follow the path of natural wines. 

The name Telquel is, suprise suprise, a pun. It's a riff on Teckel (Dachshund hound) spun to sound like "as is". The idea here to make a simple table wine that reflects the vintage. The blend changes every year but is always Gamay dominant.
