Caves Jean Bourdy is one of the oldest domaines in the Jura. Created in the late 1400’s, the Domaine is now run by brothers Jean-Phillipe and Jean-François, the 15th generation of winemakers at this estate.
From 30-40 year old vines, whole cluster, aged 48 months in old oak, a blend of the major red varietals of Jura.
We love the crunchy red fruits and the translucent neon red color in the glass. Tangy pomegranates and juiciness for days, new school freshness and fun yet steeped in old traditions. A great pair for poultry proteins.
