Domaine Michel Magnien has evolved into a Burgundy producer of a singular style. In 1993, Frédéric Magnien persuaded his father Michel to begin domaine bottling. The domaine is certified biodynamic by Demeter and the wines are produced without the use of new oak.
100% Pinot Noir that shows bright with notes of earth and spice. Various terroirs in the Côte de Nuits and some village-level wine contributes to the weight and richness to this otherwise fresh-tasting Burgundy.
Coteaux Bourguignons allow for the blending of all Burgundian varieties and regions. From cellars located in the village of Morey-Saint-Denis, this earthy style pairs wonderfully with umami, mushrooms, and grilled meats.
