2021 Les Champs Libres Crozes-Hermitage Rouge CL

Darb and Ribo are O.G. natural winemakers before natural wine was an instagram star and before the word was common vernacular in wine circles. This bottling of Syrah is made with purchased grapes from other growers in the area farming organically. 

The nose on this beauty is undoubtably northern Syrah with scents of black fruits, olives, and warm stones. But on the palate this isn't a saturated, low acid red. It's lively and drinkable and super fresh for a northern rhone syrah which at times can teeter into the overly rip category of red that we tend to avoid.
