2020 Yuka & Clotaire Michal A Fleur de Peau Rouge

Sommelier turned under study to the greatest producer of Syrah grown on granite, Thierry Allemand. Starting in 2008 Clotaire learned how to craft wine made within minimal additions and organic farming. Clotaire hoped at first to start his own domaine in the Northen Rhone but becuase land was scarce and very expensive, he turned toward another granitic mecca: Beaujolais.

These aren't fruity, simple, chillable wines...they deserve your attention and patience. Suavely textured, quietly layered and meditative. Drink now or hold for some time.

This old vine bottling ( 100 years of age) gets minimal sulfur and a very long elevage in older barrel.
