La Stoppa is a 50 hectare property located in northwest Emilia-Romagna run by Elena Pantaleoni and head vignaiolo Giulio Armani. The estate has been worked organically since the early 1990's and certified in 2008.
Macchiona is the name of a farmhouse located in the middle of the vineyards of Piacentini Hills and of this wine which faithfully reflects its characteristics.
50% Barbera and 50% Bonarda. Only 500 bottles of the magnum are produced per vintage.
