The young, quiet, introverted winemaker István Bencze says, “I like acidity-driven wines with a nice saltiness,” We couldn’t agree more. These wines are delicate and thought provoking made with a light hand, he says of his wines, “I learned that the wine doesn’t get better by working it more, quite the opposite”
This ethereal, easy drinking Pinot isn’t short on complexity, the basalt dust from erosion made its way to the bottom part of the plot, enriching it with some volcanic spicy touch.
Perfectly enjoyed with some salty, umami filled Sho-Yu ramen from Tokio Ramen.
