Since 1992, Martín Alonso Etayo and his wife, Gloria, have run this most incredible organic estate in the Rioja Baja. Located at a high altitude of 600-700 meters with the Cidacos Valley influence and the microclimate of the area, they are able to grow Mediterranean plants such as olive and almond trees as well as their vineyards.
Their method is an eclectic one open to new ideas, based in Fukuoka, “permaculture”, Jean Marie Roger and Biodynamics.
