Nascetta is a white grape variety native to the Piedmont region of Italy, particularly in the Langhe area but it fell into obscurity for many years.
Recently, there has been a resurgence of interest in Nascetta, thanks in part to efforts by local producers to revive indigenous grape varieties. It has gained recognition for its distinct characteristics.
The nose is thyme-scented, and the palate bright and fresh. The brain child of Milanese lawyer Gregorio Gitti, Castello di Perno was founded in 2012 with 14 hectares.
